Figuring out what questions to ask yourself when defining your life purpose can be confusing, tiring and overwhelming. It can feel like your trying to figure out the next winning lotto numbers or finding that elusive needle in a haystack of information overload and opinions of others.
Is it not surprising that so many of us run for the comforting covers and warmth of our beds. Hiding from life in the hope that our life purpose will arrive at the foot of our beds like Santa.
After I had my three babies, I had no idea what I was meant to do with myself. I knew I didn’t want to go back to the work I did before my kids because I wanted to be more available as a mum.
I didn’t feel connected to my “old life” and I didn’t fit the mould of other mums I’d talk to in the school playground.
I knew I was meant for more! But be buggered if I could figure out what was next for me, “my life purpose”.
I’d love to say to you that with a smile on my face and a spring in my step I just stumbled upon what my life purpose was, however, it didn’t go like that for me.
