Ever felt so tired that you can’t sleep? You’re in bedding tossing and turning with the only thought that’s on repeat is “I cannot sleep because I’m so stressed about not being able to sleep.” Exhausted!
So what do you do when you can’t sleep? Here are a few ideas.
What To Do When You Can’t Sleep
1: Deep breathing. 4 count in. 4 count hold. 4 count out. 4 count hold
2: Meditation even just two mins helps
3: Progressive muscle relaxation. Think of each muscle and picture it relaxing then move to the next until your feeling zen
4: Yoga, tai chi helps you connect to your inner self and the now.
5: Walks in nature, laying out in the grass, sitting on the beach – spend time in nature.
6: Massage or other soothing activities and practices
7: Naps wrapped in a blanket
8: Do something anything that you enjoy doing!
